
This is an interpretation in cross stitch of the red fabric decorating the four-poster bed in the Five Queens’ Bedroom. The bedroom in Chenonceau Chateau is named in memory of the two daughters and three daughters-in-law of Catherine de Médicis: Queen Margot, Elisabeth of France, Marie Stuart, Elizabeth of Austria and Louise of Lorraine.
Size of motif: 185 stitches wide by 130 stitches high.
When embroidered on 12 count (per cm) linen, the finished project measures 30.8 x 21.7cm.
Size of finished cushion: 31 x 22cm.
This kit contains:
- full-color pattern chart printed on large A3 sheets of paper;
- 35 x 26cm of azalia coloured linen embroidery fabric;
- 2 Retors du Nord embroidery floss cards in color 2028;
- 35 x 26cm 100% cotton "indienne" fabric in red and pink tones.
A contrasting fabric for the back of the cushion is included in this kit.
Presented in a lovely Sajou cardboard re-usable box.
