Description

This set of 12 cards of cotton thread is a great way to try the Retors du Nord thread from Sajou.  Retors du Nord is French for "twisted thread from the North," the traditional home of the French textile industry. This 100% cotton thread is a 4-ply embroidery floss whose plies can be easily separated, making it ideal for almost any type of embroidery or cross-stitch. Each card has approximately 22 yards (22 meters) of thread. The colors in this box are a variety of essential colors.  

For ecological reasons, Retors du Nord thread is not colourfast. To make a thread colorfast involves using highly polluting treatments, for us, totally unjustified for embroidery purposes. However, it can be washed up to 40° - just be careful never to use boiling water or bleach.
