The Calais bobbin lace threads are the perfect weight for lace making. and also make an excellent sewing thread. Each cocoon is 110 meters of three stranded mercerised cotton, the equivalent of DMC no. 80. There are six assortments of twelve bobbins each ( assortments 1 thru 6 each with a different grouping of colors) which represent selections from the complete collection of 72 bobbins. The large box (SAJ4301-72) contains 72 cocoons including 2 each of white and black. A spectacular presentation.
