Flowers are an eternal subject of embroidery and this spectacular cross stitch pattern chart is a celebration of plants and their special ability to dye fabric. Created by Frederique Crestin-Billet, this chart representing tinctorial plants is the fourth in our Museums and Heritage Collection. As you probably already know, the object of this collection is to discover subjects linked to the history of French textiles and the link between flowers and textiles. This pattern chart measures 68 x 80cm, making the motifs easy to follow. It is printed on matte paper, enabling you to mark any reference points you may need.
Apart from botanical details about the plants, the back of this chart contains all the necessary explanations for the embroidery and ribbons. The chart is stored in a sturdy sleeve so you can keep it safe and secure.
